RESUME SERVICES

Resume Critiques are for clients who have a resume in need of updating, refocusing or refreshing and will be comfortable making their own edits/updates. Resume Critique appointments are handled by phone and email.

A free 10 minute phone consultation is required prior to scheduling an appointment to ensure we would like to continue to work together.

You will email a current or draft resume to me in advance of the appointment along with 1-2 example job descriptions representative of the type of jobs desired.

The critique is done through a phone appointment that lasts approximately one hour where we will discuss your skills, experience, current resume provided and your future goals. I will provide feedback and offer suggestions for improvement to your resume. As time allows, other questions related to your job search or interviewing can be covered if desired.

A follow up summary of suggestions will be provided by email after the appointment. Timing of the follow up is typically within 2-3 days but will be confirmed during the free consultation.

You will make your own edits/updates to your resume document and may submit the document by email within 2 weeks for a final review along with feedback by reply email.

Cover Letter Critiques are available to add on for an additional $25.

Payment is due at the time of the appointment through PayPal. 10% discount if purchased along with an Interview Coaching session.

Resume Writing is for clients who do not have a resume (or it is severely outdated) and are in need of a resume document, created from scratch. A final Word and PDF version of a resume will be provided. Appointments are handled either by phone or in person with follow up through email.

You will fill out a client information form by email with basics such as contact information and past job titles/companies and dates worked. Client also needs to email 1-2 example job descriptions representative of the type of jobs desired.

We will schedule a phone appointment that lasts approximately one hour where we will discuss your skills, experience and future goals. Or, if you are in the Springfield, MO area, an in-person appointment may be able to be arranged in a public location.

As time allows, other questions related to your job search or interviewing can be covered if desired.

After the appointment, an emailed resume as a Word document will be provided for your review. Timing of the resume document email is typically within 3-5 days but will be confirmed during the free consultation. Additional changes can be requested in a reply email within one week and then a final copy will be provided in both Word and PDF versions within 2-3 days.
